At Mejuri, we want you to love your handcrafted fine jewelry. If a piece doesn’t meet your expectations, our refund policy ensures a straightforward, hassle-free process—aligned with our commitment to transparency and customer satisfaction.

1. Eligibility for Refunds

To qualify for a full refund, your return must meet the following criteria:

  • Timeframe: The request is initiated within 60 days of the delivery date of your order.
  • Product Condition: The jewelry is unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging (including all tags, dust bags, or accessories that came with the item).
  • Non-Custom Items: Refunds apply to standard (non-personalized/non-custom) jewelry only. Custom or engraved pieces are non-refundable unless they arrive damaged or with a manufacturing defect caused by Mejuri.

2. How to Request a Refund

Follow these steps to start your refund process:

  1. Contact Customer Service: Reach out to our team via email ([email protected]) with your order number, the name of the item(s) you wish to return, and a brief reason for the refund.
  2. Receive a Pre-Paid Return Label: We’ll send you a free return shipping label (no hidden costs) and detailed instructions for packing and sending the item back.
  3. Ship the Item: Send the eligible jewelry back to us using the provided label. We recommend keeping the shipping tracking number for your reference.
  4. Inspection & Approval: Once we receive your return, we’ll inspect the item to confirm it meets eligibility criteria. We’ll notify you via email once the inspection is complete.

3. Refund Processing Timeline

  • Processing Time: After approving your return, we’ll process your refund within 5–10 business days.
  • Payment Method Reversal: Refunds are credited back to the original payment method used for the purchase (e.g., credit card, debit card, PayPal).
  • Post-Processing Delay: Note that your payment provider may take an additional 3–7 business days to reflect the refund in your account. This timeline varies by provider and is outside Mejuri’s control.
  • Currency: All refunds are issued in United States Dollars (USD)—consistent with the currency used for your original purchase.

4. Special Cases

  • Damaged or Incorrect Items: If you receive jewelry that is damaged, defective, or not what you ordered, contact us within 7 days of delivery. We’ll cover all return shipping costs, and you can choose between a full refund, a replacement item, or store credit (your choice).
  • Order Cancellations: If you wish to cancel an order before it ships (processing takes 1–3 days), email us immediately. Canceled orders are eligible for a full refund, processed within 5–10 business days of cancellation approval. Once an order has shipped, follow the standard return/refund process.

5. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Custom, engraved, or personalized jewelry (unless damaged/defective due to Mejuri error).
  • Jewelry that shows signs of wear, damage, or alteration (e.g., scratches from use, missing stones, or modified settings).
  • Items returned without a valid return label or outside the 60-day window.
